The 4th Annual Okoboji Rock
and Roll Day Camp will be Monday through Wednesday, July 14 - 16, 2008
at Good News Community Church in Okoboji, Iowa. The camp will run from 1
p.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, with a Rock Concert at 4:30 p.m. on July 16th.
The day camp is for musicians of all
levels and for ages 7 to 18. Students will register for the following clinics: guitar, bass,
keyboard, drums, band vocals, and sound. We hire professional musicians
to come and lead the clinics. The students will stay with that clinic the
whole time, and bands will be formed so students get to experience
playing with a rock band. There will also be large group clinics focusing on
rhythm and musicianship.
At the end of 3 days,
students will have enhanced their current skills or learned new ones, and
perform live on stage in a rock band.
